Naveed Akram
Abbasi is a reference of positive but ruthless factual journalism in
Circle Bakote. He is a social fellow and media man who won international fame
in a very short period and now he is Special Correspondent of Pakistan Press
International (PPI), Secretary of Abbottabad Press Club and Patron in Chief and
founder first President of Galyat, Circle Bakote Union of Journalists. He has
participated South Asian Countries as a gust journalist. His investigative
reports and featured news have been read and influenced in all socio-political
circles and stack holders with keen interest.

Naveed Akram
Abbasi born on 28th of April, 1968 at Union Council Bakote in a middle class
Mojwal, Dhund Abbasi family. He got his education in solo Primary and Higher
Secondary School Bakote as a brilliant student in 1984 and won first position
in his school. He passed hif FA from Government Post Graduate College no one
Abbottabad and Bachelor of Arts degree as a private student from Peshawar
University. He enrolled himself in Muslim Law College Rawalpindi as a young
lawyer and completed his LLB during next few years.
Naveed Akram Abbasi family consited of three brothers (Including him) named Jamshed Khurshid Abbasi and Waheed Akram Abbisi, all married and working in Saudi Arabia. He tied up with his cousin on the same year when he jumped in to regional journalism in 1996 and couple have four kids underage. Two sons Hashir Naveed Abbasi and Mamoon Naweed Abbasi, two daughters educating in local school. His spouse is a house wife as well as a teacher engaging herself in promotion of education on primary level and other social activities in her Union Council Bakot. His brother in law is a recognized social worker, a lawyer in district courts Abbottabad and an office bearer of Pakistan People Party in Hazara Division. He contested as provincial Pakistan People Party candidate many times and at last but not least in 2013 national election. He organized his party from gross root level in Circle Bakote.

His career as Journalist
He is a self
styled writer and a open minded journalist with enlightening ideas as he wrote
his articles and reports. The first popular news Weekly Hill Post under editorship
of Mohammed Obaidullah Alvi in 1997 his journalistic skills matured him with a
rocketing speed as a result he has selected as special correspondent of second
largest circulated Urdu newspaper Daily Nawa i Waqt
Islamabad in first year of 21st century.
- He selected as Correspondent and Photo Journalist
with Pakistan Press International (PPI) in 2004 and soon after he had become
coordinator with Pakistan Press Foundation.
- He is a recognized and authentic journalist, columnist
and feature writer not only in Circle Bakote but also in regional press in
Abbottabad, the Hazara Division Headquarter.
- He started column writing with Weekly Hill News in 2004 after shut down of Weekly Hill Post. Now he is a teem member of Weekly Hill Star Rawalpindi among his old pen commerades as Mohammed Obaidullah Alvi, Ishteaq Abbasi, Tariq Nawaz Abbasi and many more.
Awards and Prizes
Naveed Akram
Abbasi is restless and ruthless journalist of present time rural journalism with
courage as well as enthusiasm. He won the best writer award from International
Red Crescent Society in 2006 and the best feature writer award by Pakistan
Press Foundation two years later.
Career as trade unionist
He is life time Patorn in Chif of Galyat Circle Bakote Union of Journalist since 2010. He has won the seat
of Joint Secretary in 2011 at Abbottatabad Press Club, the second largest
